Mike Ludwick

戏剧一直是 Mike 生命中不可或缺的一部分，他希望通过戏剧将更多人联系在一起。他坚信，教育需要同时培养学生成为理性思考者和富有梦想的人，而戏剧教育可能是释放创造力的绝佳方式。他还呼吁所有教育者成为孩子梦想的守护者。

Mike Ludwick 是一位美国教育家、表演者和企业家，自2007年起定居中国。他成长于一个戏剧教育的家庭，并于1998年在波兰华沙美国学校担任中学戏剧教师，从而踏入国际戏剧教育领域。在此期间，他也开始与非营利组织ISTA（国际学校戏剧协会）合作。

Mike 的教育理念深受ISTA的启发，他们强调团队精神、创造性戏剧编排、戏剧探索与体验，并将戏剧作为个人成长和自我探索的重要工具。过去三年，Mike 和他创立的 Near West 公司在广州成功举办了国际戏剧夏令营，为更多学生提供了戏剧教育的独特体验。

Educators, be protectors of dreams!

Mike Ludwick

Drama has been an important part of Mike’s life, and he wants to bring more people together with him. He believes we need to develop both of the thinker and dreamer in our student minds, and drama education might be a great way to unlock creativity. He also calls for all of the educators to become protectors of dreams. Mike Ludwick is an American educator, entertainer, and entrepreneur who has been living in China since 2007. He was raised in a family of drama educators and began his involvement with international drama education in 1998 as the Middle School drama teacher at the American school of Warsaw, Poland. During that time, he also began working with the non-profit organization ISTA (International Schools Theatre Association).

Mike’s personal philosophy and educational practice were heavily influenced by ISTA and their focus on Ensemble, Creative Devising, Play and Exploration, and drama as a tool for personal growth and exploration. For the past 3 years, Mike and Near West, a company he founded, have been offering international drama summer camp experiences in Guangzhou.
