有一次深夜离开驻唱的酒吧，他站在凌晨四点的大街上，忽然觉得，自己甚至不如一个清洁工来得踏实，也不像厨师那样能端出一桌美味，抚慰人的身体和心灵。哪怕旋律再动人，这音乐对现实生活真的有价值吗？

直到后来，他在音乐里找到了答案和归属：音乐是辽阔且深邃的。不是我在使用它，而是它在借我之身，去传达宇宙的浩瀚、生命的复杂，以及灵感的奇迹。

What is greatness, and why am I here? In this moment where poetry meets music, Chaogetu Tong invites us to step into a place of deep inner peace. He once struggled with a simple but heavy question: what’s the point of music?

One night, after finishing a gig at a bar, he stood alone on a quiet street at 4 a.m., wondering if what he did mattered. He thought, “I’m not as grounded as a street cleaner, nor as comforting as a chef who can serve warm meals.” No matter how beautiful the melody, does it really mean anything in the real world?

But over time, he found his answer—and his belonging—in music. He came to believe that music is vast and eternal. It’s not about using it to express himself, but about letting it use him—to speak for the universe, for life, and for the infinite wonder of inspiration.
